Our Senior Capstone project was centered around the word “creature”, and my idea was inspired by the devastation that occurred as a result of the Australian Bushfires. I opted to create designs to be printed on clothing, that would shed a light on social issues. A portion of the proceeds for specific designs would be donated to charities supporting these issues; it’s all about creatures helping creatures. My ultimate goal was to learn something new in this process; a skill to give me a better understanding of my field. In 2 months, I taught myself HTML, CSS, & a little bit of JS, in order to code Portal’s website optimized for desktop format.
